Right of withdrawal

 Cancellation Policy and Return Conditions

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their commercial or self-employed professional activities.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Meidl Family, Am Kirchplatz 1, 97244 Gützingen, Email: tre.alpacas@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract through a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof of having returned the goods, whichever is earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this value loss is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for testing their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusion or Early Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • For the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

  • For the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, except for subscription contracts.
